Thailand UPL

Flying in the LSA or Microlight Category falls under the UPL laws.

What are the requirements?

To gain your UPL license you will have to meet the following requirements:

  • Passing the written exam
  • 15 Hours of Flight Training
  • 3 Hours PIC Solo
  • Practical Test with CAAT Examiner
  • Class 4 Medical
  • Background Checking

How long will it take?

Flight training always depends on where each student is in their Aviation journey. Students with knowledge and experience may be able to become proficient in the necessary testing requirements very quickly. However, if a student has little or no time in the left seat, they may need to learn a lot of fundamentals and improve their skills to achieve their UPL.
